I bought my first lens for my SLR (apart from the 18-55mm). It’s a 50mm Nikkor F/1.8D. I was free this morning and went for a few shots after detailing the car. Didn’t turn out too bad! (un-edited). Let me know your thoughts

I had the 1.4 version of the same lens. 1.8 is plenty fast though (and would have saved me some money). You will rarely take this lens off the camera.

haha. An average 1M here costs 3 times what I paid for this car :p
